Sign Babies ASL Flash Cards
Some time ago I reviewed a book by Nancy Cadjan called Baby Signing 123. Well she was definitely nice enough to send along some flash cards to use with my baby. They are wonderful. Oversized and colorful, the illustrations catch my baby’s interest. The pictures are clear and the signs are simple, making learning new motions easy to follow. There is even a written hint in case you don’t quite understand what the illustration is depicting. And everything looks familiar to anyone who has already read the book. My older child even like them because he is a sponge right now and enjoys learning new words and concepts. So they even work for increasing your verbal child’s vocabulary when signing has become a thing of the past. Sort of like a ‘first words’ set of cards as well as ‘first signs’. It is a high quality product, useful and conducive to learning with your child. If you like the book, you will love the cards. Although they complement each other well, you could easily enjoy the benefits of one without the other; so you cannot go wrong no matter what you choose.
